We are Aprils Away, a beatdown metal band from Kochi, India, shaping a fierce blend of metal, metalcore, and hard-rock energy. Our sound is built on raw intensity, heavy riffs, powerful vocals, and an unapologetic live presence. We write with honesty and confront the emotions, frustrations, and truths that most people shy away from. Our music exists to challenge, to resonate, and to stand as a voice for those who feel unheard, a reflection of who we are and the world we come from.
Formed in 2024, we built our early momentum through a series of hometown
gigs before landing our first major breakthrough stage at Groove Fest
2025 in Kochi, where we delivered a hard-hitting debut set that earned
immediate recognition for our high-energy live presence.
In early 2025, we released our debut music video “Rise”, followed
by “Unbound”, accompanied by an official music video that surpassed
100k+ views on YouTube. The same year, we were crowned winners of the
“Young Blood” Hunt at Outrage Festival 2025, earning
the opportunity to open for Canadian metal legends Cryptopsy.
In 2026, we joined forces with acclaimed Metalcore Artist PEEKAY for our
collaborative single “Breathless”. The release was accompanied by
a high-production, cinematic music video, filmed entirely with top-tier production
standards, marking a major milestone in our visual and artistic evolution.
We continue to evolve with every release and every performance, constantly
